Designed to float for water retrieves as well as land retrieves. Long distances can be achieved up to twice as far as canvas launcher dummies. The cylindrical design of these dog training dummies allows them to roll when they land, leaving a trailing scent.- Oval shape

It is recommended that a light-coloured Dog Training Launcher Dummy be used for early training, marking and water work, and a dark coloured dog training dummy for advanced retrieving. Both should be used for directional training.The Dummy Launcher will not work properly if there is moisture, slush or mud etc. inside the tube of the Dog training Launcher Dummy. Cleaning of the tube is therefore particularly important in water and winter work. After each training session, clean and oil inside the tube using a 12gauge mop and lightly grease the Oring of the spigot of the Dummy Launcher.
