Introduction To Pheasant Shooting DVD We look at the evolution of the sporting shotgun over the past 150 years, the development of great game shot and the changes that have occured to the present day.
The pheasant is the most common of our game birds and we look at the different landscapes and how the bird has adapted from being a marh bird to being found throughout the country and providing very differing shoots.
We visit Gleneagles Shooting School to learn the technique of shooting high pheasants and visit a shoot in Scotland for a driven day in mixed landscapes.
Finally we go on a driven pheasant shoot on the flat fenlands, shooting wild pheasant and see how the smaller wild pheasant has the ability to produce specticle sport.
