The Petalo lurcher Polo dog collar is a luxury accessory that has been expertly designed to suit the slender necks of breeds such as lurchers, greyhounds and whippets.

Each lurcher Polo dog collar in the pampeano collection measures 45cm in length from the start of the buckle to the end of the leather.

pampeano's signature, Havana brown leather has been used to hand-craft this dog collar. Expert craftsmen in South America hand-select the finest pieces of raw leather to be vegetable-tanned using natural dyes, which involves a lengthy and traditional process that produces the most exquisite results which cannot be replicated by modern day practices. After the rich colours of the dyes have been absorbed, the leather is then tumbled in large drums to create its softness and suppleness. The results have provided pampeano with a prestigious reputation that reaches all four corners of the globe. The colourful patterns that decorate these dog collars are also steeped in tradition. Eye-catching Aztec diamonds, called pampa diamonds, are handwoven into the thick, Argentinian leather by master artisans in South America. The patterns have been around for generations, symbolizing the peaks and troughs of the nearby Andes Mountain range.
