THE AUTHOR
Peter Holt is a former Fleet Street journalist who spent a large part of his career writing a pop column for London's Evening Standard during the 1980s. His previous books include In Clive's Footsteps, The Big Muddy and Stars of India. These days Holt runs his family property in Shropshire, whilst spending much of the winter months shooting.
